Stonewall Jackson Wildlife Management Area (WMA) Public Shooting Range is convenient for those that live in Harrison and Lewis Counties in West Virginia.
Whether you want to become a better hunter or just hone your marksmanship, the Stonewall Jackson WMA Public Shooting Range is a great place to practice and is conveniently located. Off I-79 take Exit 91 and then take US Highway 19 toward Stonewall Resort State Park. The public shooting range is on the left a few miles past the entrance to the state park.
West Virginia is a constitutional carry state (also called permitless carry), which means that eligible adults may carry a concealed handgun without first obtaining a concealed handgun license from the state. Firearms safety and confidence in the use of the firearm come with periodic practice. The Stonewall Jackson WMA Public Shooting Range is free to use and is open to the public.
