Donation Refund Policy
Lou Assaro for West Virginia House Delegate appreciates your generous support. Contributions help us advance our mission to serve the people of West Virginia. We are committed to transparency and compliance with all applicable laws, including the West Virginia Election Code.
Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

Duplicate donations made in error

Mistaken contributions (e.g., wrong amount or unintended donor)

Excess contributions that exceed legal limits under West Virginia law

Prohibited contributions from sources not permitted by law (e.g., corporations, foreign nationals, or certain organizations)
Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, please contact our campaign within 30 days of the original donation. Include the following information:

Date and amount of the donation

Reason for the refund request

Refunds will be processed promptly, subject to verification and applicable campaign finance regulations. All refunds will be returned via the original payment method.
Legal Compliance
This policy is designed to comply with the West Virginia Code §3-8-5c and related campaign finance provisions. If a refund is required by law, it will be issued regardless of the timeframe.
