Connecting with the People | Our Campaign for a Stronger District 69

As we look ahead to the 2028 General Election, I’m preparing to ramp up our campaign to bring independent, common‑sense leadership to West Virginia House District 69. This district — spanning parts of Harrison and Lewis Counties — deserves a representative who answers to the people, not to a political party.
We are at a decision point. The division and dysfunction we’ve seen in recent years have taken a toll on our communities, our institutions, and our trust in government. When the dust settles, West Virginia will need leaders with integrity, steadiness, and a commitment to rebuilding — not along party lines, but alongside the people they serve.

Since Melody and I retired, we’ve learned a lot about how people truly connect. It doesn’t happen through quick clips or empty slogans. Our RV‑camping community grew because we consistently delivered real, boots‑on‑the‑ground value — and this campaign will follow that same principle. Honest conversations. Real information.
