About Me.
I’m Lou Assaro, and I’m running for the West Virginia House of Delegates, District 69. Our families deserve better than crumbling roads, low‑paying jobs, and politicians who forget who they work for. I’m stepping forward because I believe West Virginians deserve leadership that answers to the people — not to a political machine.
I’ll fight for roads that don’t destroy your truck, jobs that pay enough to keep families here, schools that prepare our kids for the future, and the freedom to live our lives without unnecessary government interference. I’m not running to play politics. I’m running to make sure people can build a future right here at home instead of being pushed out of the state they love.
My focus is simple: rebuild the middle class and make West Virginia a place where families can live, work, and thrive. I bring a common‑sense, independent approach to every issue — focused on what works, not what fits a party agenda. Above all, I’ll answer to you, not to a party boss.
I believe in personal responsibility, hard work, family, faith, and personal freedom. I’ve served this country, and now I’m ready to serve West Virginia.
